Pathfinder Award

The Pathfinder Award is an annual award established in 2012 to honor one outstanding Â鶹¹ÙÍø Fairbanks staff member who possesses a high degree of ethical standards, compassion and dedication to the academic success of Alaska Native and rural students. This award is open to all staff employed by the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Fairbanks, including UAF’s branch campuses.

Climate Change and Subsistence Impacts

Selected students will spend 5 weeks during the 2022 season participating in a two-week intensive course and three-weeks of fieldwork in Arctic Village, Alaska. Students are also expected to commit to a second season of fieldwork (2023) in the Bristol Bay region.
