Week’s events: Whirlwind of allergy, wood burning kilns

Next week the �鶹���� Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning will host the final two of more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events presented this summer.

• On Tuesday, Aug. 15, the Healthy Living lecture series will feature Dr. Anthony Bonitatibus, allergist, speaking on “A Whirlwind of Allergy: From Pollen to Pot Roast” at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 16, the Discover Alaska lecture series will feature Jim Brashear, UAF professor of ceramics, discussing “Wood Burning Kilns and the Discovery of Glass.” The presentation is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.

All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the UAF Troth Yeddha’ Campus is free after 5 p.m.
