Crystal Wilson, the Tok center coordinator at the College of Indigenous Studies, Interior Alaska Campus, is the rural staff spotlight for September 2024.

Crystal Wilson serves as the Tok center coordinator at the College of Indigenous Studies, Interior Alaska Campus.

Crystal goes out of her way to make sure that her students are on the right track, engaged in taking classes each semester, and a step closer to completing their goals. She works hard and is good at reaching out to students, staff and faculty. Crystal has been with the Tok Center for over 30 years and she is phenomenal at what she does whether it is to reach out to rural students, set up classes, or work with her colleagues. Crystal enjoys her summers outdoors to fish, hunt, gather berries, mushrooms, and more. She also enjoys boating and flying in various aircraft with her husband, and spending time with two grown children, four grandchildren, and as a great grandmother.
