Responsible Conduct of Â鶹¹ÙÍø training Oct. 5 and 8

The next in-person Responsible Conduct of Â鶹¹ÙÍø training is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. This training, offered by the Office of Â鶹¹ÙÍø Integrity, will cover essential norms, principles, regulations, and guidelines for conducting research responsibly.

This workshop meets the formal RCR instruction requirements of the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. UAF’s RCR training is open to all UAF, UAS- and Ilisagvik-affiliated individuals (faculty, graduate students, staff, and undergraduates). It’s also highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their understanding of ethical research practices and is a valuable opportunity for those aiming to advance their careers in research.

RCR training is mandatory for undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers supported by NSF and NIH awards. RCR is required for all BLaST Mentors, Scholars, UREs, and other funded projects.

This training is a two-part training. Part One requires completing an online CITI Training module, and Part Two requires participating in UAF's RCR training. You must complete both parts to receive your RCR certificate. Don’t miss this chance to deepen your knowledge and commitment to responsible research conduct.
