The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Museum of the North will focus on feathers during family programs in April.
Families with children ages 5 and younger are invited to drop in at Early Explorers on Friday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to noon. Create and discover through hands-on activities in the Creativity Lab, and explore the galleries.
Junior Curators, designed for children 6 and older with an adult, will be held at the museum on Saturday, April 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. Drop in for activities and a feather-themed scavenger hunt.
Family Day: Feathers is set for Sunday, April 23, from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors can discover how feathers help birds adapt to their environments, investigate how people use feathers, create feather artwork, and try an I-spy hunt in the galleries. On Family Day, there is no admission fee for children ages 14 and under, thanks to support from TOTE.
These programs are included with admission and are free for members.
