2022 URSA spring project recipients

Tara Dowd-Ramos, one of the 2022 URSA Spring Project award recipients, will develop an Iñupiaq “Jeopardy!” game, giving teachers an activity to do with Iñupiaq language learners in a fun, creative way for both online and in person instruction.

Sixteen undergraduate students have received project awards for the spring 2022 semester from the Undergraduate 鶹 and Scholarly Activity office. 

Activities range across a variety of topics, including investigating solar energy potential in Haines, Alaska; developing an Iñupiaq “Jeopardy!”; studying the impacts of probation and parole on rural Alaskans; developing a microfluidic syringe pump; and comparing sex education between the U.S. and Germany.
