Andy Baltensperger is a landscape ecologist with expertise in the biogeography of mammals, birds, and amphibians, and their projected responses to environmental change. He develops spatial predictions of changing biodiversity and ecological patterns using machine learning, GIS, and remote sensing. Andy’s research has been used to inform species conservation decisions while publicizing detailed maps of wildlife distributions over time.
