The Field Director at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Fairbanks is a full-time, non-tenure track role overseeing field education in the online Social Work Program. Responsibilities include managing field placements, developing partnerships, updating the practicum manual, and ensuring accreditation standards. The position involves teaching 21 credits annually and supporting student success. Applicants should have strong social work knowledge, teaching skills, research competence, and at least two years of post-MSW experience. A student-centered approach, collaboration, and effective communication are essential. The role can be fully remote within Alaska.

The UAF Justice Department is seeking candidates that demonstrate experience in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related fields. Teaching experience in Policing, Courts, Corrections, and Restorative Justice is preferred. The role includes face-to-face and online instruction at undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring students, and engaging with community justice organizations. Preference is given to candidates with five years’ experience in Policing, Investigations, Corrections, or Probation. The program emphasizes student-centered teaching and practical community connections.
