My research focuses on Pacific blue mussels and their physiological and ecological responses to thermal stress. To do so, I am quantifying their thermal microhabitat, sampling mussels throughout the mussel bed, running aquarium experiments, and doing historical data analyses. My goal is to paint a better picture of their thermal tolerance as well as show how complex their microhabitat is.
