    One Health, One Future 2021

    This was a virtual conference with presentations, workshops and cultural exchanges discussing circumpolar North issues in a One Health context.

    Tribal Governance Symposium

     This was a forum to build understanding, relationships, and knowledge to advance tribal self-governance for the health and wellbeing of all Alaskan peoples and ecosystems.  Will take place November 5-7, 2019.

    One Health Video Showing and Poster Session

    We are kicking off One Health Week with a documentary film about One Health in Alaska.  It will take place from 4-5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, in the Murie Building auditorium. A discussion with people featured in the film and a poster session will follow the screening. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP for the event. One Health is a holistic approach to well-being that recognizes the interdependence of human, animal and environmental health. Monday’s event is sponsored by the UAF Center for One Health Â鶹¹ÙÍø (COHR), University Relations and the Biomedical Learning and Student Training (BLaST) program. The video will also be shown in Sitka at the WhaleFest film festival at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Harrigan Centennial Hall. UAF Graduate School Dean Michael Castellini, a WhaleFest featured speaker, will discuss the marine ecosystem and human impacts on the oceans at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 in the hall.     UAF's Center for One Health Â鶹¹ÙÍø (COHR) hosted a meeting discussing One Health issues in Alaska with stakeholders from a multitude of backgrounds.

    One Health, One Future 2023
