Dear student,
Welcome to the fall semester! As we come to the end of the first week, I hope you
are settling into a new routine. If this is the first time you’ve taken classes with
us, I am glad you are here. If you are returning, thank you for choosing to continue
your studies at UAF.Ìý
We have been working hard over the summer to ensure that you will continue to get
a world-class education taught by dedicated faculty, supported by committed staff,
and accompanied by some of the brightest minds in the world.Ìý
Although COVID-19 is still with us, we are committed to making this academic year
as smooth as possible. Please do your part by following our COVID-19 policies. In
particular, theÌýÌýmeans that everywhere indoors — with a few exceptions — and even in some outdoor
situations, face coverings are required. We will continue to adapt and change as conditions
warrant.
I hope that whether you are studying on one of our campuses or at a distance, you
are able to take advantage of the many things UAF has to offer in person and by distance.
