Earlier today, the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Board of Regents selected former UA and UAF executive Pat Pitney for the position of interim UA president. I have confidence in Pat’s ability to lead the UA system until a permanent president is named. Having experience at the UA system and at UAF gives Pat an excellent perspective and understanding of the issues we face.

I look forward to working with Pat in her new role as interim president and in my role as UAF’s chancellor to move UAF and the UA system in a positive direction.
