RE:                 International Travel to U.S. State Department “Level 4 - Do Not Travel” Countries

In light of heightened COVID-19 Delta variant spread in many countries, as of September 22, 2021, travel for university faculty, staff or students on university funding to countries designated by the United States Department of State as “Level 4 - Do Not Travel” will generally not be approved.  Exceptions may be considered but will require justification on why the travel is essential and must include a mitigation plan approved in advance.  This does not affect previously-approved travel.

Please convey this to your units and ask that no international travel requests to Level 4 countries be submitted through the 鶹 Concur system unless it has been approved by you as an exception.

Let me know if you have any questions.
